Our refurb is halfway through…
There’s a lot more to do during a refurb than a lick of paint and some new furniture.
Starting back in September 2017, our £2.5million refurb will see every aspect of the hotel renovated. Done across three phases, phase one of the refurb is almost complete.
Phase one sees a complete transformation of the Reception, Restaurant and Bar area. With the help of Designer Bernard Carroll and his team, the ground floor of the hotel couldn’t look more different!
When looking at a refurbishment, it’s important to look at every aspect of the design and this travelled across to our website and branding. We decided to have a refresh of the website and improve the imagery and customer journey making it a much more aesthetically pleasing site to look at. Our new logo created by Graphic Designer Jamie Smith is classic with a contemporary twist and our new colour palate fits perfectly with the new interior décor.
Then comes the fun bit, the food. Our Head Chef Sean Sutton has spent a lot of time not just creating an inspiring new menu but practising the dishes and trying them out on the staff. Once the restaurant is open we know these dishes will be so popular! Our favourite so far is the Classic Bouillabaisse with Saffron Potatoes. A real Winter warmer and a definite must for those cold blustery days.
Once our restaurant re-opens in mid-December we look forward to welcoming lots of you in to celebrate the festive season. With over 1,000 people now booked in for December it promises to be one of our best yet!
We still have a few last minute Party Night spots available so do get in touch if you’d like more information on 01625 583033
