I love food. Cooking it, reading about it, watching TV cookery shows and, of course, eating it. So in my opinion, there’s little more satisfying than a plate full of amazing food beautifully presented. I was invited to Alderley Edge Hotel to take a look at the changes they’ve made lately to the decor and layout in their bar and dining area. Always elegant, it was perhaps looking a little dated, and the steps up and down to the restaurant placed limitations on diners and presented waiters with challenges. The whole experience at the Alderley Edge Hotel exceeded most four rosette restaurants let alone three. The menu was executed with talent, skill and passion by a chef who’s clearly more concerned with the food on the plate rather than his ego.
The quality of the food was complemented with a superior front of house service. A credit to the northwest dining scene and Mr Kurcer the general manager.
