Booked a standard room for 13.9.12, to stay for one night on way back from airport. Standard room was about £145 BB, but special offer to include dinner £125 !! On arrival was advised we have free upgrade to the Bridal Suite, huge smiles – fabulous room and facilities… very big thank you.

This hotel was recommended by the Merlin, who was closed, said the breakfast is said to be to die for. On arrival they had saved our pre-booked dinner table [flight late] and was the last table. Excellent steak and wine.

Before leaving to have a drink in the village was offered a free glass of champagne following an earlier wine tasting surplus.

Breakfast was excellent, and staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Location excellent, and would we go again, well when a hotel goes out of its way as this, and the quality is excellent, of course.

Alderley Edge hotel was well-placed for fine views towards Manchester and beyond to Winter Hill. The hotel itself did not disappoint. We contacted the hotel direct and were offered a deal which beat those available on LateRooms etc. We had two lovely rooms in an annexe (a small cottage just to the side of the main hotel), recently decorated and furnished to a very high standard indeed with high quality solid handmade hardwood furniture. We had a lovely three course dinner served in the new Bistro included in our rate. The staff were friendly and accommodating but we really had no problems. Breakfast in the morning was generous, and there was a wide choice including smoked haddock, kippers, full English etc. as well as a choice of pastries, cereals and cooked meats and cheeses. Bravo Alderley Edge hotel!

My partner and I had dinner at the Alderley Edge Hotel last night, and from the moment we walked through the doors we were treated brilliantly. The food was sensational and the service out of this world. We are both in the industry and it’s lovely to find somewhere where the service exceeds expectations, the food was divine. We will definitely be returning.

On Friday the 17th of August 2012 my daughter was married at the Alderley Edge Hotel, both the marriage service and the following reception were held at the hotel. The staff were exceptional, the food both at the reception and the evening buffet was out of this world. From the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff were welcoming and friendly, the wedding organisers Gina and Dawn were so professional and helpful that the whole day passed without a hitch making the it such a special and memorable day for us all. The rooms were immaculately clean and well presented.

The gardens and lawns are beautifullly kept and were the perfect backdrop for the wedding photographs and the ideal location for the wedding guests to intermingle.

I have stayed in a number of five star and luxurious hotels in the UK and aboard and none have impressed me more so than the Alderley Edge Hotel and its staff.

I would, and will recommend this hotel to anyone as a result of the manner in which myself and my family were treated during our stay at the hotel.

Difficult to describe how good the food is here.The descriptions may be a bit pretentious but they deliver on the plate. Eaten here many times in the last 15 years and every time I come away I feel its the best food I have tasted. Imaginiative dishes, fantastic presentation and tastes that blow you away. Lamb 3 ways main and berry & violet dessert just wonderful.

If you enjoy special food put it top of your list

Just wanted to say a huge ‘thank you’ for Saturday night to you and all the staff who worked on my birthday dinner. Please pass on my thanks to everyone and also to the chefs.

The service and friendly and professional attitude of the staff was excellent. The food was outstandingly good and the petit fours absolutely beautiful! Are they available to purchase at all?

I had an absolutely brilliant time and it is an evening I will always remember.

The Alderley Restaurant is thoroughly deserving of its third AA Rosette for Chris Holland’s outstanding cooking, innovatively using first class ingredients and for exceptional standards of service.

The Alderley Edge Hotel is one of my favourite Cheshire establishments. Dining here is always a special treat, the hospitality shown by Mr Ahmet Kurcer and his team is always impeccable, the service is attentive and efficient without being intrusive.

Food produced by the talented kitchen team using local ingredients is excellent and is at the cutting edge of modern cuisine; the dishes are innovative and are certainly equal to those from the best UK restaurants. There is an extensive wine cellar with a good selection of new and old world wines.

I thoroughly recommend a visit.

My family had the supreme pleasure of The Alderley Restaurant’s tasting menu, with wines, to celebrate our Silver Wedding and we have enjoyed Sunday lunch there with friends. The unique feature is always that the whole experience is not just about sheer food excellence.

That, in itself, is better than we have ever encountered and knowing this provides the confidence that every visit will be as consistently good as the last . But The Alderley Restaurant is more than that. It’s about a total package of customer care – from reception, front of house, right to the table and right through the meal.

Everything is just right – with a sense of professional pride running through a team that knows every job is being done correctly.

The overall experience is just as good as it gets.
